Desktop terminal
Session terminals streamed through the daemon's mux to Electron.
Open the Terminal pane in a session to connect to its shell. Tallpine reconnects the terminal if the daemon changes ports or the desktop restarts.
For Terminal UI sessions, this pane shows the agent's terminal. Chat sessions do not start an agent terminal, but you can open a separate shell in the same worktree.
New macOS/Linux Terminal UI sessions use a detached native PTY host; existing tmux sessions and native-host startup fallback use tmux. Windows uses ConPTY. Closing the terminal view does not stop the agent or archive the session. Detached terminals may reconnect after an app or daemon restart; whether a Chat session can resume depends on its provider.
The terminal is built into the desktop app. There is no terminal: web setting, tallpine open command, or iTerm2/AppleScript plugin in the current release.
